An In-Home Newborn Session


There’s something so special about photographing a newborn in the comfort of home. I had the honor of capturing a beautiful in-home newborn session. We moved throughout the house, starting in the living room, where soft window light and cozy seating made for relaxed family shots with mom, dad, kids, and baby all snuggled in together.

In-Home Photo Session in the Bedroom


Next, we headed to the bedroom, using the bed for soft, candid moments that showcased their connection and playfulness. It's fun to give a family a prompt like "everyone get dad" and see how the family interprets that! Sometimes it's wresting, sometimes its hugging, or evening tickling! I love being the fly on the wall to capture how they interact.

In-Home Photo Session in the Kitchen


We ended the session in the kitchen. The family spends a lot of time in there from cooking, eating, to playing. We decided to give the kids a chance to bake with their parents and then have a dance party since they do that most nights together. These activities were special to them, so I made sure highlight it!
