I’m an Apex, NC family photographer focused on capturing life’s special moments. I incorporate both posed and candid moments into our time together! You will be directed through the whole session so even if you feel uncomfortable in front of the camera, I will guide you through the whole session! No need to worry about where to place your hands, I will direct even those smallest details! Just to be clear though, this session is not just about posing your family, but connecting you to one another. I would be honored to capture your life moments and help keep your memories alive! Adventure Family Session
Adventure Family Sessions offer the most flexibility and creativity. With extended time, an additional look if you choose (outfit), and space for breaks, play, and exploration, these sessions tell a deeper story of your family in this season of life. They’re perfect for families who want a larger, more artistic gallery and a relaxed, memory-making experience. This caters towards activities your family enjoys i.e. paddle board at the lake, bonfire in the backyard, or explore and picnic in the flower fields.

Family Session
Family Sessions are perfect for busy families that want a quick session with high impact. In a short amount of time, we focus on capturing a beautiful set of updated images in a single location and outfit. The experience is quick and perfect when you just want to update the family wall art. We focus on the classic poses of everyone looking at the camera, individual portraits of family members and capturing the moment in time.

Extended Family Session
An Extended Family Session is the perfect choice when you want to capture more than just one family unit. These sessions are designed for families who want to include grandparents, siblings, cousins, and multiple family units all in one meaningful gathering. Whether you’re celebrating a reunion, milestone birthday, anniversary, or simply the rare chance to be together, an extended session allows time to photograph the full group as well as smaller combinations. This collection of images celebrates connection, legacy, and love shared across generations.

WHAT IF I DON'T KNOW HOW TO POSE OR WHAT TO DO??
I love being by your side to help you through the whole process. Never modeled or posed for professional pictures before? No problem! I direct all my clients during the whole session to get the perfect photos that evoke your personality and emotions.
Where are you based and do you travel?
I'm based in Apex, North Carolina and work in the Raleigh area. If you want my services outside of my area, please contact me and we can discuss travel fees.
What do I wear?
You can wear whatever you want, but if you need any help or ideas I always send my style guides for inspiration.
What types of photos do you take?
I am a portrait photographer. While I do capture the more posed and traditional photos I love to get my clients moving to create dynamic and interesting shots! I feel that it's easier to capture your individual personalities when given the chance to interact during the session with the surroundings and each other. I photograph family pictures, headshots, maternity, newborns, engagements, senior pictures, etc. I love to get creative and capture your story!
What does a typical session look like?
After we decide on a date, time, and place, I will meet you at the designated destination. I always start with a few warm up shots to get everyone comfortable and familiar with my shooting style. We will then move around the location getting different shots as I guide you through different poses! If you have any specific poses you want, I encourage you to tell share them with me so we can tell the story you want!
Where are your sessions?
I generally love to have sessions outdoors both in nature or cityscape. I also hold sessions indoors for newborn sessions and lifestyle sessions in your own space!
**due to COVID-19 I am happy to wear a mask if asked or needed.
When will we get our photos?
You will receive an online gallery link from Pixieset no more than 2 weeks after the session. You can download all the photos from the gallery, download individual photos, and choose your favorites. You will have 2 weeks from the time the photos are posted to download all of the photos you want before the gallery expires.
How long do I have access to my gallery?

Is there a retainer upon booking?
Yes! There is a $50 nonrefundable retainer that will be required upon booking. The rest of the payment will be expected once the session is over.
Can I reschedule my session?
As stated in my contract, there will be a $35 rescheduling fee.
